What you need to know for the Weekend!

What's the best way to get to Oktoberfest?

Best way to get to Oktoberfest is to take to MTS Trolley. Click here for routes and times.  Trolley drops off at La Mesa Blvd and Spring street front entrance. Click here for routes to MTS Trolley Schedule

Where is La Mesa Oktoberfest located?

La Mesa Oktoberfest is located in the beautiful quaint village of La Mesa.  The Main entrance is on La Mesa Blvd and Spring Street.

Will there be parking?

Parking is limited we do have some parking lots around the quaint Village of La Mesa and you can park on the surrounding streets however; we encourage you to take, Uber or Lyft or public transportation to La Mesa Blvd.

Will there be music?

We have 3 stages filled with traditional and Non-traditional music. click here to check our fun danceable line up

Will there be bier?

We have 3 beer gardens. New this year is our sit-down Munich inspired Beer Hall on Palm Avenue.  click here for listing

Will there be dancing?

Is La Mesa Oktoberfest free?

The Event is Free and open to all ages. We do have a ticketed upgrade experiences for the main beer garden located on Alison Avenue. These are limited so to purchase click here

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are allowed and we have a Dackeldorf Dachshund Village with a variety of activities and prizes click here to find out about all the howdeling activities. Dogs are not allowed in the beer garden, please make sure they are on leashes and you are responsible pet owner. We ask that you clean up after them and keep them happy and secure so everyone with two paws and four paws can enjoy the event.

Are the Biergartens all-ages?

La Mesa has 3 biergartens they are open to all ages. If you do want to drink some tasty beer you must bring your ID.

Will there be any specials on Sunday?

Sünday Fünday….  New this year we are running a happy hour on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM – All Beverages in all beer gardens are half off and Ferris Wheel is half off, vendor specials, click here for a complete list of Sunday Funday specials.

Will there be games at Oktoberfest?

We have games galore – Games with prizes will be located in three locations – Hofbrauhaus Biergarten, Palm Street Bier Hall and 3rd Avenue and La Mesa have the Glucklich Games and Batwoman Craft Beer and Spirit Cave will have fun games to play on your own. Click here for a complete schedule.
